Jennifer Coats Covellis Attorney at Law
Jennifer Coats Covellis is an attorney with Karnes Legal Services. She joined our legal family in 2010 as a Summer intern and then full time in 2011 after graduating law school. Jennifer practices mostly in family law, focusing on adoptions, child custody, divorce, and estate planning. She has always had a love of children, so she devotes quite a bit of her practice to Juvenile Law as well serving as a Guardian ad Litem.
Jennifer is born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee. After graduating from North Side High School, she attended Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee and then graduated from Mississippi College School of Law where she was in the top ten percent of her class.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and their two children.
